Discoh Design is established in 2008 by Kiko Gaspar and Miguel Abarca after working together
during eight years in different companies and design offices in Italy, Barcelona and Valencia.
Discoh' s work is based on the idea of understanding industrial design as "coherent design"
(DISeño COHerente). A common factor in Discoh's work is the search of coherent results
that are far from trends and ephemeral or sensationalist designs, with the only aim of creating objects that respond to a necessity.
Discoh Design understands the work of a designer as a tool that should be used during the
whole process of a product's development, from the idea to the manufacturing. That's why,
due to its training and complete and coordinated team, discoh develops it's projects with a
logical and COHerent criteria of development and manufacturing.
Discoh Design se funda en 2008 por Kiko Gaspar y Miguel Abarca tras haber
trabajado conjuntamente durante ocho años en diferentes estudios de diseño y
empresas en Italia, Barcelona y Valencia.
El trabajo de Discoh, parte de la concepción del diseño Industrial como DISeño COHerente.
Su trabajo tiene siempre como denominador común la obtención de resultados COHerentes
alejándose de modas y diseños efectistas, con el único fin de materializar los objetos que
responden a una necesidad.
Discoh Design entiende el trabajo de diseño como una herramienta que se debe aplicar en
todas las fases de desarrollo del producto, desde su concepción inicial hasta su fabricación,
y por esto y gracias a su formación y un equipo completo y bien coordinado, realizan sus
proyectos siguiendo criterios lógicos y COHerentes de desarrollo y fabricación.
